Summary
Martin is a fisherman without a boat, displaced from a family home and moved to a property above a picturesque harbour. His struggle to re-establish a family home begins here, provoking intense friction between the tourists and the locals. In the midst of this, a tragedy occurs at the heart of Martin's family...
Mark Jenkin is a British director, editor and screenwriter. For his first debut film Golden Burn (2002) he won the Frank Copplestone First Time Director Award. He is an associate and a lecturer at the Falmouth University and the author of the manifesto Silent Landscape Dancing Grain 13 Film.
