Summary
Alexandre lives with his husband and children in Lyon. One day he accidentally discovers that the priest who abused him while he was a boy scout is still working with the youth. Long repressed memories are awakened. Confused, Alexandre finally finds the courage to take action against the man. His search for other victims of the priest, who is highly regarded in his office, leads Alexandre to François and Emmanuel. Each of these three men fights with themselves in a different way. And each of them will have to contend with the shadows of their past in order to cope with the far-reaching consequences of the process. Creating a self-help organization, La Parole Libérée, is just the first step. The film is based on the actual case of Father Bernard Preynat, who was accused in 2016 of sexually abusing about 70 boys in Lyon.
