Summary
The film Pain and Glory brings the story of the reunions of the seasoned Salvador Mall, a filmmaker who's physically in decay. Some of them happen face to face, others take place in his memory: his childhood in the 60's when he emigrated with his parents to a village in Valencia in search of a better life, his first yearning, his first true love in Madrid in the 80's. the pain that followed the break-up. the love while it was still at its peak, his writing as the only therapy to forget the unforgettable, his early discovery of cinema and the void, the infinite void responsible for his inability to continue filming.
