Nenad Polimac, a Croatian journalist and film critic, will present his new book at Art-kino - Life in Film 1: Role Models and Achievements. This is the first part of a trilogy in which the author summarizes his involvement in film as a film critic and journalist. It begins with the domestic magazines that influenced him the most, the Belgrade Film magazine and the Film Today magazine, looks back at the Hitchcock group in Zagreb - especially active in the sixties - who never managed to launch her own newsletter, and also shows us the history of the Film magazine he edited with his critical generation. Most of the book consists of essays and conversations with filmmakers.
