The month of December creates an atmosphere for the work of the eccentric director Tim Burton so the last weekend of the month is intended for his movies. Friday, 27th of December, brings the movie Ed Wood (1994.), a black-and-white biography in a tragicomedy manner about the life of the infamous American director Edward D. Wood Jr. Saturday is reserved for the fan-favourite Edward Scissorhands (1990.) and his dark fairy tale about a creature who has scissors instead of hands, while on Sunday you can enjoy the family movie Pee-wee's Big Adventure. Our hangout with Burton's heroes will last until the second Friday of January when this small cycle of a large eccentric will be closed by the critically and publically aclaimed Batman (1989.) with Michael Keaton, Jack Nicholson and Kim Basinger in lead roles.
